If you are looking at this page with a view to soon getting married
– firstly – congratulations to you both on your engagement!
Secondly, thank you for considering us as your wedding venue. In Church, we recognise marriage as a holy, sacred and lifelong event. We would therefore be delighted to host your wedding service and invite God’s blessing on your married life together.
At St. Mary’s we endeavour to offer couples wishing to be married here a comprehensive ‘wedding package’, including marriage preparation and assistance with your service planning. We will do our very best to give you the traditional church wedding service that you no doubt would like, but you are also invited to contribute to the service content yourself. We want your wedding day to be your own, and we will do our best to give you happy, unique memories you can treasure throughout your lifetime together.
Not least, if you would like to be married here, then we appreciate that you will want to finalise a date as quickly as possible – we will do our best to help make this happen.
With thanks and our prayers,
From all at St. Mary’s

In the presence of God, and before this congregation,
N and N have given their consent and made their
marriage vows to one another.
They have declared their marriage by the joining of hands
and by the giving and receiving of rings.
I proclaim that they are therefore husband and wife.
Those whom God has joined together
let no one put asunder.
